Campervan van Ludgero

Hello, this is Nirvan. A 1997 Volkswagen Transporter T4 full of style and with a lot of desire to explore Portugal!

Nirvan was completely designed and remodeled by us (Ludgero and Márcia), we are a couple in love with travel and Nature and we had the dream of having a CamperVan many years ago. Nirvan is our materialization of this dream. It was designed in detail to provide a unique and comfortable experience.

As Vanlife lovers we want to share this kind of experience with you.

The design we chose for Nirvan is unique and privileges the versatility of space. Allowing to have a small ’living room and kitchen’ that turns into a ’bedroom’.

Nirvan is prepared to transport and accommodate 2 adults. It has all the amenities for a trip with all the comfort. The living area includes a sofa/bed with high-density foam mattresses for a good night’s sleep and plenty of comfort in the sofa layout. Inside, you have a folding table, which can serve as a work table or as a dining table.

Nirvan is self-sustaining in terms of electricity, and in our experience (having already made trips that lasted up to 25 days) the electrical system we installed is perfectly capable of supporting all the electrical needs of the van for long periods of time (even when the sun is not constant throughout the day).

It is a super discreet Van and because it is more compact it allows a good driving experience and ease of parking.

Nirvan is equipped with:

Kitchen with utensils, sink/sink and reservoirs for drinking and residual water (75 liters of drinking water and 50 liters of waste water); Campingaz stove (with 2 nozzles) and a gas cylinder; Compressor refrigerator (12v); Outdoor shower (the same tank as clean water - 75 liters) and two bath towels; Table and two chairs for outdoor meals; Double bed (140cm x 185cm) with 2 memoryfoam cushions and bedding included; Ceiling lighting; 1 USB reading light; Several storage spaces; Several usb sockets for charging electronic devices; 2 220v sockets (for Equipment with a maximum of 100w); 1 Hammock bed; First aid kit. NirVan is also equipped with a roof deck where you can enjoy special moments with a high view. The ascent to the deck is made by a staircase fixed to the back door.

From an eco-friendly perspective we have a shovel so you don’t leave biological waste outdoors. We invite you to have a natural and environmentally friendly experience when it’s time to ’poop’.

Nirvan is a miniature house on wheels that will give you a new perspective on what Freedom and Adventure is! It’s super comfortable and loves to explore beautiful places.

Check-ins and check-outs at the Alverca train station (13 kms from Lisbon) with very quick and easy access from Lisbon airport.
